Favorite Children's Book

Although there are many wonderful children's books, Love You Forever, is my favorite. This was a favorite of my two boys when they were younger. I would have to read it over and over to them and I would always end up in tears. If you are a mother, of a boy, and have never read this story you need to read it. You will love it. It is about a little baby boy growing up and it is very touching.

  1. Hi Amy,

I have never heard of this book but it sounds amazing especially because I have a young son whom I love very very much and I always want him to remember that as he grows older.

  2. Amy,
Beautiful book, I haven't heard of the book either but I have been looking for a book for my nephew who I am now raising. He is a growing boy and now Im attempting to teach him how to act like a big boy by doing chores, tieing his shows, and even help pack his own lunch! Thanks alot.

  3. Robert Much did a wonderful job with this story. The story gave a cycle of life. The mother cared for the child when he was young, she endure the challenges of language development, and self Identity. The birth of a new child reminded the boy of the importantance of nurturing from the cradle to the grave, a model initiated by his mother.

  4. Hi Amy,

We too haven't heard of this book, but will be checking Amazon for it today!

If you haven't heard of Sandra Boynton's books take a moment and check them out, they are great and you will find yourself humming and singing the stories even when you aren't even near your kids. The stories read like songs and are just really good fun...one of our favorites is called "Tickle Time"! Here is the link to her site: http://www.sandraboynton.com

  5. Hi Amy,

I am very excited to check out this book. I love reading stories to my boys at night...guess that is why I end up ready 12 books each night instead of keeping to my stated limit of 4. :-) I recently found an author, P.K. Hallinan that we love! Some of his books have a religious tone, but they are all great stories. I really like Try, Try Again and Let's Be Thankful. Like Jeff said, we also love Boynton's books. Snuggle Puppy and Birthday Monsters are a big hit with the boys.

  6. Amy,
Ok. So I wanted to let you know we got this the other day and I read it first to the Boys, Jamie wasn't in the room when I read it. By the time I finished around page 5 I was bawling. So then I gave it to Jamie to read...she was a MESS! :-) Great book, incredibly emotional, needs "box of tissues sold separately" warning!
    Cheers,
    Jeff
